WizKids put up a video on Instagram revealing some details on what's to come 2016! You can find the post HERE! The news seem to be aimed specifically for a big reveal at the Origins Game Fair. The message itself states, "We're hard at work getting ready for the Player Appreciation Meeting at Origins Game Fair!"

This image is possibly showing us an appreciation set similar to the Marvel and DC 10th anniversary sets. This is just wild speculation mind you, but hey a man can dream...

The special edition releases only adds to my wild theory of Heroclix celebrating its 15th Anniversary. The contest could be anything ranging from social media raffles to changing up the way they're doing the OP kits each month. Leave a comment if you have an idea please, because I don't. Events is obvious, this is probably hinting at them releasing some details regarding next year's summer event. They did this last year when they announced the Civil War event that's taking place this summer. New product tie-ins is another one that has my head scratching, and the only thing that comes to mind is the Extreme Heroclix they released late 2015. This was done as a plan to attract new players to the game, but I can only hope they execute it better this time around.
Finally, the one I'm most excited about is the new rules!!! If you've read some of my articles you know I occasionally throw in a jab or two at WizKids for not updating the Mastermind and Leadership to allow it to affect characters of equal or lesser value and not just lesser value. Since World's Finest was released characters like Doc Magnus, Cyclops, and Leonardo haven't been able to help or receive help from their teammates. Hopefully this change finally happens. Also, official Heroclix t-shirts?
Last, but not least, is some more information on the new Superior Foes of Spider-Man set. More specifically the pre-release information which is dated to begin on July 20. If it's anything similar to the Uncanny X-Men set we can expect to begin opening booster packs on that date alongside some promotional figures. Only time will tell.
One image I didn't include was a slide that said ""Grand Prize Preview" for the new Civil War Storyline Organized Play set. While the poster itself has been revealed they haven't shown us what the overall grand prize is. They've shown the monthly prizes, which might be the participation prizes, the grand prizes, which are probably the prizes for the monthly winners, but the grand prize will probably be revealed at the Origins Game Fair.
